What can cause the tap water to be cloudy or milky?
Cloudy water commonly is caused by air in the water. If the cloudiness does not dissipate when the water is allowed to stand, the cloudiness may be due to some other cause. To help determine the cause(s) of cloudiness of your drinking water, contact your local drinking water system.
